We Have Moved!

But first, a few things that we’ve experienced while growing Lavender -

Did you know that there are over 150 kinds of Lavender, and not all of them love Rhode Island’s climate?

We have focused on a few hardy kinds of Lavender.

Some have tall stalks and high oil content with a eucalyptus fragrance.

Others have short stalks and a citrusy fragrance.

All Lavenders like “dry” feet.  This means that well-draining soil is an absolute must.

Our family has moved to Newport, RI and we are beyond pleased to report that our Lavender LOVES the soil here.
